Gianni Mion

 graduated in business and economics from the University of Venice in 1966. In 1967, he joined Peat Marwick Mitchell (now merged into KPMG), where he worked as an auditor in Rome and Chicago. In 1973, Mr. Mion joined Mc Quay Europa S.p.A. as controller. In 1974, he moved to Gepi S.p.A., where he held various management positions until 1983, when he became a member of the board of directors of Fintermica S.p.A. In 1985, Mr. Mion joined Marzotto S.p.A. as chief financial officer. In 1986, Mr. Mion was appointed chief executive officer of Edizione Holding, the holding company of the Benetton family’s diversified business interests, where in 2012 he became executive vice-chairman.
